More money

Received a call today from a very pleasant sales lady, who told me that ITX had bought the customer database from ExamForce and wanted to offer me a way to gain access to the training that I had bought from ExamForce. Needless to say I am not spending any more money on these courses. I have been a customer when they were CramMaster and when ExamForce became the owner I still had access to the course I purchased. I wish I was wiser when I was younger, I would not have purchased any. No I am done, a lot poorer but hopefully wiser. 30+ courses and 10 videos gone.

I had an old lifetime subscription, which ITX Learning called to say I could transfer to the new company. In the end, the high-pressure salesperson got me to shell out another$700 for a one year program of unlimited use of their courses and exams. The selection of courses to prepare for IT certifications is somewhat dated. The training videos are a total waste of time and impart little knowledge building. The practice exams are okay, though. I highly recommend lower cost services for courseware that are more industry accepted and better developed such as Coursera or Skillshare. They carry far more topics both in IT and business and are much cheaper.

I have a Lifetime membership for training with Exam Force, so that should mean I have lifetime training with your firm as the buyer of Exam force's customers. Do not call me and expect me to pay for a single thing to use training since it's already been paid for. You make Exam Force refund our money if this is not the case with Your Firm, the acquirer.

Lifetime

I had purchased this expensive set of certification study guide materials and later purchase additional package to go with it before we found out my young son had Autism and I had to put things on hold. I know it had been 4 years but it had not been that long since I was called to add on the additional package in the summer of 2015. Now I am being told It is gone. I want without paying any more money at least material to study/ pass two certifications. I am in Cyber security right now and would like the Security + and at least one basic certification in cyber security. I will not let this go. It was never to expire. I will make sure no other colleges or company in my service areas use this company or any other like it if this is not resolve fairly. Mrs. Fields Computer Science/Cyber-Security 276-252-****

I spent $1400 for a lifetime COMPTIA Courseware and CISCO CCA. Now I find a new scam company is calling me saying they acquired their database but have no liability to provide the courseware. They explain that their web page has a lawyer disclaimer of no liability. The firm is ITLEARNING.

ITX Learning contacted me by phone and discussed options and I agreed to one of these options. They then setup my account so I could access the transferred products.

At this time, I am reviewing the content of some of the products to verify their quality. I must say that speaking out through this forum has been the only way I was able to get satisfaction.

I was contacted by ITX Learning as well...By the same salesperson that contacted me back in 2011 from ExamForce! Same high-pressure sales pitch and same type of verbage...if you'll just by X, it will give you access to all this!...Don't fall for it folks. It's the same people under a different name. They were offering to transfer my purchased products from Examforce to their product line for a mere $700... I asked them to simply transfer over what I had purchased already and they quickly reminded me they were under no obligation to transfer anything... I tried to get a sample course from them to see if the product was worth it...they wouldn't do it. I tried to find out who they were getting their training content from and they couldn't/wouldn't tell me. I tried to get them to commit to refunding my money if I decided the training wasn't worth it and they wouldn't commit. Caveat emptor...

Thank you for this post and I am glad I found this. I thought I was the only one!

I too purchased a lifetime subscription to Microsoft test prep material in 2007 for $1200. Every time I called to have another certification test prep released (they only allowed release for two at a time) I would have to dodge another sales pitch for the next great "packaged deal". Then in 2011 I fell into the it again. This time was the first of extremely high-pressure sales pitch and verbiage..."not only will have the the training material from your lifetime MS purchase but this is a "NEW" interface for exam prep.

The exam formats have changed and this will prepare you by offering a simulation of the actual certification exams; with the click count and "show me the steps" to perform a task environment. Today, right now, I can offer it to you because you are an existing lifetime MS test prep subscriber, you'll just pay X to get the practice exams." So I put in another $2800. Long story short, I get same high-pressure sales pitch and same type of verbiage...for the videos in 2016. This time for $2400 and now all of my labs are only available online for one year (the lab access expires one year from the date of first log in).

I only received two videos from the initial sales pitch! Then back to dodging the darn high-pressure sales pitch when I was requesting my next round of material. I feel completely duped and I recommend never using ITx or Exam Force EVER. If they are different companies and ITx is a new stand alone then why did it feel exactly the same when they called to offer this "great deal" to use their service?!

I consider them to be in permanent detention! Through association of course! I am in for well over $6K with Exam Force and then approached by ITx to purchase an additional subscription to their service. If I purchase the subscription ITx is offering to honor a portion of what I purchased with Exam Force.

Please browse the material listings at www.itxlearning.com/product-list/ and you will find the offerings are nowhere as current as some their competitors; Pluralsight, Udemy, edX to name a few. Heck, even the old Exam Force site offer way more than this joke of a site.

The site is even unprofessional for a company sell Information Technology education! The redirects are horrible, dead ends, the layout and spacing is off. Really? I can fix this for you at much less than the cost you offered me.

That alone should be something we could barter with. But why do I have to negotiate for a "limited fulfillment" you agreed to? I am sorry for anyone else going through this. Just another spoon-full of unneeded stress or hassle in our lives.

If you are experiencing this similar ordeal I recommend to cut your loss and do business else where. Then next time they call you ask to be put on the do not call list. If they call enough of us back we can bust their *** with a harassment case!

Not get to get the money back, but to return the favor - so to speak!! In closing - - Good Luck!

I too just got off the phone with ITX about the exam force transition. I paid $500 for test prep and 1 lab with Exam Force, and now that ITX took over, they tell me I have to purchase a new subscription for $700 in order to get access to what I already paid for through Exam Force.

I went through this a couple of times. My company paid for course prep through Career Saver, then Exam Force picked everything up when Career Saver went away, and that's what I paid for some extra test prep. Now it's the same thing, but without any credit for what I already purchased. I either pay $700 or lose out on any remaining test prep I had.

This has all the hallmarks of being a scam, but they are probably not. I'm not looking for a refund. I just want access to what I paid for. Since that's no longer the option, I said goodbye and forfeited my remaining investment.

Definitely high pressure and no consideration or understanding for the customer. Very bad company, or at least bad customer service to deal with.

ITX Learning does not sell Lifetime Memberships or Non-Vendor Specific Membership Packs, nor do we offer refunds, transfers, or credits to products previously purchased from ExamForce. ITX Learning neither owns nor produces new CramMaster releases therefore no longer offers this product for distribution. CramMaster is an intellectual asset that was not part of the acquisition agreement with ExamForce and should not be confused as an ITX Learning asset.

Unfortunately, this has not been my experience. I have only been told that to gain access to any content I had already paid for, I would have to buy additional product/membership from ITX...by the same individual that used the high-pressure tactics to sell me the ExamForce products. At your direction, I will attempt another run at this and provide my invoices for reference.

Burnt to a crisp... by ExamFARCE and ITX-LAX Learning/Training...

They took my money too. I had a lifetime Cisco Track from CCNA to CCIE, and then I bought two 10-pack deals and a CCNA Lab. It all went down the drain. ITX Learning contacted me trying to force me to buy yet another "all access pass" to get any training I want, only catch, more money, more money, more money. What about all the money I already gave you? Just give me what I have already paid for, but that was not possible. At first I was assured they would honor my lifetime membership as a long-standing customer, but then the bait switched, and they had no ties to ExamForce and were under no obligation to honor any of those contracts. But if I forked over more money (the price kept moving around like a carnival duck on a wheel), I could have it all. If I had just been willing to overlook the thousands of dollars already spent, I could get in on a rare unbeatable deal. Needless to say, I was driven to anger and hung up the phone. Now I had been robbed twice.

I just finished my first video course and it was superficial. I'm about to try the Prep exams but have a feeling that they won't disappoint. The video just isn't enough learning to get ready for the exam. Extra outside reading is necessary. But if you do enough of the exams it'll help.

Examforce- Gone?

Well, folks, I Googled Examforce the other day- sometimes you get other info on the right side of your screen- maps, website info, etc. I noticed that below the map was the red box which said, "Permanently closed". Interesting. It would appear that they are now a part of a new company- see links: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/practice-labs-agrees-asset-purchase-agreement-for-examforce-crammaster-certification-preparation-solution-30054****.html -This seems only to be a "back end" process- probably whoever is hosting their videos. Also: https://www.itxlearning.com/ -The physical address is the same as Examforce. https://itpro.tv/ - I believe located in Gainesville, Fl. โ€“ My understanding is theyโ€™re part of the same company. It appears that this new company does do some monthly/yearly pricing to access learning material- Maybe if Examforce had done that, they might still be around?? As far as I know the old Examforce numbers still work. My fun with Examforce started in the early 2000s. I got a call one day (not sure how he got my information) from some guy literally screaming at me, seemingly concerned about "my future". To be fair, he was right, up until then I had done little to advance my career. His was just a lucky guess, however, not as a result of doing any kind of research on me. I wish I had slammed down the phone then and there. I let him high-pressure me into buying whatever package he was pushing at the moment. As time went on, he would call every now and again, to try and get me to buy more of whatever they were selling ("Labs", Lifetime packages", whatever). I bought a few videos at first, but did not use near what I had purchased, but that did not stop them from calling me for more money as time went on. I should have put my foot down and told them I was not going to keep giving them more money for something I hardly used. An old saying- "There's a sucker born every minute" - guilty as charged. The quality of their product is not something I can fairly address- I did not use it that much. There are other reviewers out there- I'll leave that to them. Anyway, bottom line- I let them pressure me into giving them more than $20,000. Not much fun when your credit debts are more than your house payment! I guess I can only blame myself for letting them get away with it. If you're looking for training out there- I recommend Safari Books Online, CBT Nuggets, Pluralsight, VTC.com, Udemy.com, etc. Do your research. IMHO, you're better off with a service where you pay for the site a month at a time, or whatever time frame you need. MUCH cheaper than buying packages outright, that you may never use.

I received an email this morning from ITX, requesting that allow them to call me. The summary: ITX bought ExamForce, and anything you had coming from them is gone.I, too, was tricked by their sales department.

A cold caller assured me that $1100 would purchase lifetime, on-demand, access to their Microsoft library. It was a lie.This morning's caller wanted me to purchase a $700 package.

I politely, but emphatically, told him that one of the assets they had purchased was my unwavering refusal to spend one penny on any ExamForce, ExamCram, or related product. There are plenty of other equally good training products available.

I was told I had a lifetime membership all free upgrades and now I cant get in . I paid around 1200.00 dollars.

I sent an e-mail to itx and they got back to me in 15 minutes, they are going to call tomorrow to see what hey can do yo honor the contract. Better than nothing !!!

As previously stated - ITX Learning and ExamForce are not and never have been the same company. ITX Learning never collected the money from ExamForce Purchases.

The Purchase Agreements were between those customers and ExamForce. ITX Learning was granted certain abilities to act upon prior Purchase Agreements from ExamForce using the old Contracts that ExamForce had in place. ITX Learning did this as a courtesy and was in no way obligated to do so. ITX Learning is at the mercy of the old Contracts, and the willingness of the vendors who originally issued those contracts to ExamForce, to keep those contracts active.

The ability to honor anything has nothing to do with caring or not, it has to do with legalities.

ITX Learning cared enough to take on the 3rd party position to help out these affected customers to not lose everything when ExamForce shut down, without actually receiving any money from those original purchases. ITX Learning, however, does offer the ability to upgrade into a better, more up-to-date and robust Library of materials than ExamForce customers were originally able to get access to.

I was contacted by ITX Learning as well...By the same salesperson that contacted me back in 2011 from ExamForce! Same high-pressure sales pitch and same type of verbage...if you'll just by X, it will give you access to all this!...Don't fall for it folks. It's the same people under a different name.They were offering to transfer my purchased products from Examforce to their product line for a mere $700...I asked them to simply transfer over what I had purchased already and they quickly reminded me they were under no obligation to transfer anything...I tried to get a sample course from them to see if the product was worth it...they wouldn't do it.I tried to find out who they were getting their training content from and they couldn't/wouldn't tell me.I tried to get them to commit to refunding my money if I decided the training wasn't worth it and they wouldn't commit.Caveat emptor...

I also had a life time membership but ITX called me and told me for 799 to buy a one year membership then they knocked it down to 599 for the one year. After the 1 year they would then give me my life time membership back.

Sounds fishy to me. I declined and will look elsewhere.To me it sounds like they build a client base then after a few years they change hands IE change company / sell to another then rope you into spending a little more money to keep your life time membership and in the end nickle and dime you over and over.

The sales folks are very high pressure. The software is great. The exam simulators help you to learn questions and answers fast. Not necessarily material though. Answering any kind of question drills will help you to learn something. And it does kindof teach you how to focus study. The online labs seem to be very good so far in at least helping you to become familiar with windows and navigating windows to do task. They did give me the pdf's for all sybex exam cram books for each of the study guides after you take the pretest you can download them a chapter at a time. There was also some other study material given. The questions are made up by people who have taken the latest exams. They are not from the question Comptia Question pool directly. And I was told this. The questions have typo's and even logic errors. I saw at least one case of one question contradicting another question. They have a way to provide feedback on this on each question. The problem's not immidiately fixed it seems. I think the drills will teach you to learn to be more careful in reading questions and answers. I also think that its possible the set of questions they use make the test seem a lot harder than the real test will be. I.e. you think you need to memorize by heard every type of ram, numbering scheme and pin configuration, just in case you get a real question thats worded a bit differently . I give them an A for software. B for question pool c- for sales and errors in question pool. D for sticking to their word, I also got a lifetime membership that was supposed to get me upgrades to A+ exam prep for life and several other exam preps. when I tried to go from 800 to 900 series they told me I had to buy additional material and i had to fight them a bit to get them to just put up the links for the new exam material. Salesmen there or at least some salesmen don't want to honor the lifetime thing if they can fight you about it. But I have no other prep material or source right now to compare them too however.

Why are you troubling me by making several calls, even when I CLEARLY mentioned I am not interested in your trainings. The insane guy who called me today kept on asking 'WHAT do you not want to continue', 'WHAT do you know about examine', 'WHAT am i talking about'.. WHAT WHAT WHAT.. Wth is wrong with you and stop calling me Delete my number from your database. again when I mentioned this line, he's like 'what do you want me to delete and from where'. You provide IT trainings and donot know this simple term?

I didn't even buy their material and I feel like I want a refund. I've been using a study guide developed by them and it has atrocious grammar and formatting. This is something they expect people to pay for?! There are typos everywhere and it seems like some quick notes that someone whose first language isn't English took in their first IT class. After looking into their other products, services, and reviews it makes sense that they'd put out such garbage. Although I'm not a big fan of COMPTIA, it is sad that they officially affiliate with these guys while some sites they rebuke have excellent quality education.

Deceptive Sales - Rip off

The main reason I looked at this company was for an alternative source for my CCNA. They claimed "detailed explanations" with their test engines when taking practice exams. There were none..only a link to read a chapter of a PDF book...which I already owned and anyone can get for free. This was a product misrepresentation and a rip off. The "labs" came from the same Sybex book. Definitely not worth $310. They did not offer any sample for me to see what I was actually purchasing, as I did ask for that. The salesperson said i could refund it if i didn't like it. That was not true when I called back 3 days later. Thankfully my credit card company resolved it for me after i disputed the charge.
